      Although thankfully it seems like one group failed by the state – the victims of the NHS infected blood scandal (at least those who are still alive and the families) – may get the compensation they deserve as MPs have voted to authorise the High Court to administer the compensation.

      Afaict the principal objection ministers had to this was that it will reduce the "fiscal headroom" they need to cut taxes for the rich. Like, come on.
