IMO, the abolition of ICE is nothing but a good first step. The entire Department of Homeland Security (of which ICE is a part) is a boondoggle that should never have been established under George W. Bush's administration. The panicked need on the part of the President and Congress to be seen as doing something after 9/11 has cost us billions (if not trillions) of dollars and thousands of lives, while maiming thousands more.

I really don't understand the confusion around this, are people so used to cryptic, ambiguous political statements that they can't believe one is crystal clear? I want to abolish ICE. I want ICE to no longer exist. I want the functions that ICE accomplishes to no longer happen. It really is that simple.
