We had a primary election in New York yesterday. The establishment candidates won the statewide races (most notably Andrew Cuomo for governor, unfortunately IMO). But it was a different story in the state senate, with a bunch of former IDC members (conservative Democrats who caucused with Republicans, giving the Republicans a majority) got whooped badly.
Also of note: turnout was WAY up statewide, almost double what it was in the 2014 general election.
