    This is sort of a strange thing. I get the founders worked for the onion previously so they have some credibility. But this seems more like a story about how knowing the right people lets you blow tons of money without justification. They never made a name for themselves and nobody knew about them, but because Musk was willing to give them a ton of money they'd hire 14 people and produce slick videos, and websites with not so great content.
