    As my previous comment was removed (rightfully so) for being too simplistic, let me try and expound:

    This displeases me because it shows Twitter is either a) Still unclear, after all this time, on what exactly they want on their platform, or b) Isn't taking the time to consider the repercussions of their actions despite the fact that they seem to be in the news at least once a month for having to walk back some moderation decision they made.

    You would think that a multi-million dollar company (or is it billion? I don't know) would have the capacity to self-police itself and apply some sort of consistency to its moderation tactics. Instead what we're left with is a spineless admin team who can't even moderate to their own incredibly vague rules.

    It's just frustrating to watch this happen on a platform that had such promise not that long ago. Now it's all just russian bots, celebs with bot followers, and conspiracy theorists. It's a cesspool and I'm becoming more and more convinced that it's only staying afloat because bad actors want it to stay afloat.
