I don't think this is reflective of the real world. With apps like Tinder, you're forced to make a first impression based on pictures (And a short bio) alone, and you don't often get or give a second chance. Relationships in the real world are fostered over time, and you're often forced to confront people many times due to work, class, etc., despite first impressions, allowing for more time for people to redeem themselves.
Also, men's desirability peaks at 50? I bet this is because of the increasing trend of sugar babies/sugar daddies, which is often done through dating apps (And once again, not reflective of the real world).
