This was years ago that I had seen it, though, so I don't know if they've expanded/upgraded it or have any additional devices.

I haven't figured out which one to buy yet since I don't have an immediate need for it, but it's my understanding that these days, an oscilloscope that connects to your laptop over USB can be a good choice, letting you use a nicer display and more advanced software than would make sense stand-alone.

At that price the Rigol is probably still your best bet, even though it's getting really old these days. If you can scrape together a little bit more, the Siglent SDS1104X-E is a lot newer, twice the bandwidth, nicer screen, maybe a better FFT or some extra protocols decoded, etc. Here's a video from Dave Jones reviewing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kay4Jk2DHuE and here's a forum thread talking about how to unlock its premium features: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/sds1104x-e-hack-to-200mhz-and-full-options/

I was looking at buying a scope a year or two ago, and I was debating whether to buy that Siglent, or shell out a bit more for a Keysight DSOX1102A. It's only two channels, but for some reason I was leaning towards buying it over the Siglent. I forget the reason right now though.
