The X-Ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission (XRISM), which was formerly known as XARM, is a JAXA/NASA collaborative mission, with ESA participation. The objective of the mission is to investigate celestial X-ray objects in the Universe with high-throughput imaging and high-resolution spectroscopy.

This is the next big X-ray observatory getting up into space. It's an X-ray telescope and one of its missions will be to observe high-energy phenomenon in the universe including potentially x-ray signatures predicted by some models of dark matter.
