    Pretty damning to achieve only 60% of mission goals on orbit. I do feel better knowing I got higher grades in high school as a troublemaker than Boeing got on this test flight, though....

    Pretty damning to achieve only 60% of mission goals on orbit. I do feel better knowing I got higher grades in high school as a troublemaker than Boeing got on this test flight, though.

    Contractually, their test flight requires operations in the proximity to the ISS. This was not achieved—it seems clear though that through the wording and statements they've released that Boeing is going to push hard for either:

    1. More funds to complete a second mission (as a COTS service, Boeing would normally be required to pay for this out of their own pocket).
    2. A request to waive that part of the contractual agreement, which seems sketch.

    Commercial Crew is a great program though, here's hoping SpaceX & Boeing have better 2020's.
