@LeoLabs, Inc.: We are monitoring a very high risk conjunction between two large defunct objects in LEO. Multiple data points show miss distance <25m and Pc between 1% and 20%. Combined mass of both objects is ~2,800kg.Object 1: 19826Object 2: 36123TCA: Oct 16 00:56UTCEvent altitude: 991km pic.twitter.com/6yWDx7bziw
So I’m just sitting here wondering why they returned so soon, 2 months Doesn’t seem like a very long time considering the money and preparation involved.
I did a quick search to try and find the answer without any luck, so wondering if anyone on here can shed some light on the reason.
Unlikely as it is, what would they do if a non human vessel suddenly approached or if a little green man knocked on the door?
