My Oklahoma Sooners are ranked fifth, which seemed a little high to me at first. Then I started thinking about how our O-line is not changing (and Bedenbaugh is a truly great line coach), we always have good running backs, our receiver corp is full of new talent, our QB is going to be good even if he's new, and we have the offensive guru in Lincoln Riley. The defense will be in its second year of rebuilding, with Coach Grinch bringing in a bunch of his guys over the last couple seasons, so it should be better than it has been. Fifth doesn't seem like a stretch after all. Maybe we'll take a dip, maybe we'll do better, but it's certainly not unwarranted.
