It seems they want to play both sides here. They want to claim that their measurements are more correct than the existing methods, but at the same time they use medical recommendations based off those old methods.
If 20% body fat was okay on the old scale, then apparently 25% is okay on the new scale, and not a problem, despite what the device says.
That, or the whole thing is hogwash and still shouldn't be listened to.
