    To get the original URL Tildes will have to bypass embed.ly, load the archived URL, extract the original link from the link header as described here and finally pass that URL to embed.ly to get other metadata (or pass the archived URL, both should work).

    I think it'd be a good idea to display the original URL for two reasons. 1) I like to know where a link is going to take me before I click it, some archives hide that. 2) Some people use archives to bypass domain bans (I think Tildes doesn't have any yet) and this can stop that too in case it ever becomes a problem.
