I find it interesting how the season was uploaded to the YouTube Originals channel rather than its own, it makes me skeptical of it landing a second season. Wayne, Cobra Kai, Impulse, Origin, even Ryan Hansen, all got their own channel and a hell of a lot more marketing. This didn't even show up in the typical promo spot in the YouTube app (or site for that matter). The only content I've seen posted to YouTube Original's channel are trailers and movies.
I'm not really sure what I expected coming from the trailer, but this wasn't it. I did enjoy the first episode (the only I've seen so far), but other YouTube Originals gave me higher expectations for this. Reviews seem to be positive, but so far it's been a disappointment.
I will continue the season, I can definitely get through five more ~23 minute episodes. But I don't think this would get anyone not already subscribed to join.
