Im interested how much of this is based on historical fact or how much is dramatized / fictionalized, given this happened under the soviet union.

Growing up during the cold war and atomic scare in the 80s this disaster is deeply in-bedded in me and I'm not from anywhere near the place.
The cast is really impressive. I am picky about TV series, but this one looks like it turned out well.
