TV Tuesdays Free Talk

We watched a bunch of new stuff this week. We started season 2 of Mythic Quest, and it got off to a great start.
We started watching The Mosquito Coast. It's pretty good. It's an updated telling of the book by the same name, and the 1986 Harrison Ford movie based off the book. It's a mystery about a family that's on the run because the father is wanted for something, though we don't yet know what. He's an inventor and a far-left liberal who doesn't allow their kids to have things like cell phones or televisions, though he is also a whiz with electronic things. The wife slips up and calls her mother. The FBI have her mother's phone tapped and trace the call to where the family is living in Stockton, California. The FBI notifies the Stockton police and heads out to meet up with them. The family finds out and takes off for Mexico while the FBI chases after them. While it's not what I'd call perfect, it's pretty decent so far.
We also watched The Investigation which is about the murder of Wired journalist Kim Wall. The show is in Danish with subtitles. It's a 6-part reenactment of the police investigation of her murder by a tech entrepreneur aboard his homemade submarine. If you read HackerNews or other tech websites, you probably remember the bizarre story coming up in 2018.
