The symbolism of the avocado-stuffed lobster intrigues me. As we all know, avocados symbolize millenials, entitlement, disorder and, naturally, post-modernist neomarxism, whereas the lobster symbolizes hierarchy, order, self reliance and masculinity. The combination of the two is a union between two seemingly incompatible ideals, order and disorder, male and female, yin and yang. Also note the reversal of roles here, the avocado stuffs the lobster, the female penetrates the male, in seeming rejection of the natural state of being, or perhaps the lobster is pregnant with the avocado, an even more unnatural perversion. It grieves me to see the most noble of creatures brought so low.
