I agree with what some people have said. Make it invite only to post and comment but make it open to read. A lot of people would love a new site aggregator to replace Reddit or something similar...

A lot of people would love a new site aggregator to replace Reddit or something similar but they aren’t the type to comment or post but they still drive traffic by linking. I don’t know if I ever even had a Digg account but I read it multiple times per day.
