Amplification is a key element of disinfo campaigns; media must stop building up the persona of specific actors in their coverage, and individuals should avoid sharing original sites/memes/sources of disinfo, even in rage, on social media websites and instead be descriptive and analytical
Disinfo campaigns have massive financial incentives; addressing monetization is a great place to start
"Fake news" doesn't have to be either fake or news, and is thus a problematic term
