I agree with her for the most part. Tildes is great, but there are many off-putting comment chains from people with an ax to grind, or people who fell in love with being on a debate team.
We stick to the articles.

It's sad that my long-term girlfriend has said, "It's not worth it," to joining in the discussion here.
A black woman, in a male-dominated field, from an impoverished family, as a first-generation college graduate, basically can't read the comments without rolling her eyes.
She'd scowl at me if she read herself described that way, because she'd never announce that "identity non-sense" and instead say it is more about individual experience.
Unfortunately, I think a lot of people place power on these weird 'identity markers' and use them as ammo in their comments and posts, instead of their individual experience. I'll probably regret pressing 'post comment' with this one.

Yes, Edge
my alternative to Firefox in those rare instances where I need to use a Chromium-based browser on my Windows machine👇 Leave it to some random commenter on Github to get the

To me, Reddit has just as much advertiser potential as Twitter, but how will it be fully realized? I know more under-21 and over-40 family members scrolling Reddit than ever before. 🤷♂️

An example I have is Trinidad and Tobago, where someone who exports to the United States and Central/South America uses it to buy medical goods (e.g. masks). It is also used by all of my Chinese immigrant friends to communicate with their family and friends still living in mainland China.
Interestingly, I have noticed an uptick in casual use among people here in the states since TikTok exploded in popularity, but I am unsure why. It is gaining popularity by the college students here too, and we are by no means a tech-city. Far from it in-fact. 🤔

Slowly trying to finish Alien: Isolation. Gave Alien and Aliens a watch with the girlfriend a few weeks ago after she heard me screaming in terror while playing. She'd never seen either, and I hadn't watched Alien in UHD yet.
That drove me into a hole of torrenting The Thing (1982) since we both love a good thriller/horror. I had never seen The Thing before. No regrets, easily a 10/10.
So far, after 30 hours of Alien: Isolation over 5 weeks, with probably around 20 of those hiding under tables or in lockers, the game is without a doubt one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played.
Only other movie-based game I would recommend is The Chronicles of Riddick, but Alien: Isolation whoops ass at atmosphere, sound, and music. The AI of the xenomorph is fuckin' terrifying as well. The thing is too damn smart.
