I think if I devoted some time to learn it it'd be perfectly fine.
I don't have the level of familiarity with lemmy I had with reddit (knowing which subs I like and were active and stuff) yet so it naturally feels a bit sparser content wise as I don't currently know where I want to be on it.
Never really got the idea behind microblogging.I have a twitter account which I'll occasionally log into if some big controversy is kicking off and I want to get a feel for which way the zeitgeist is going on it but I've never tweeted in all the time I've had it.
