ShuMue Link ParentThanks a ton! For the subtitles, it is pretty hard finding clips without them as dubbed clips are usually lower in quality due to copyright or whatever For the Narrative, I do understand that...Thanks a ton!

For the Narrative, I do understand that claim and it was definitely something I tried to incorporate but found it hard to find clips from multiple animes that are similar enough to put together to create a progression in a thematic arc. That's why you see the characters feeling down on one scene to just straight up action the next. I was making an AMV featuring the themes of One Piece but decided to cut it short as the varying quality of the show was hard to keep up with, but it is something I intend to return to in the future.
Overall, thank you for your response as it helped me a lot! I will definitely watch the Evangelion AMV and try to keep the things you said in mind. This was my first step into video editing and I did enjoy making this video though which will definitely fuel a passion for more haha.

This is the first project I have done using Vegas Pro and decided that I want to make an AMV as it it something I am passionate about. Is there anything bad that stands out or just things that could make future projects much better. I do think I need to do better work on transitions and some sort of overlaying filter throughout the video to make it look smoother. I'm not trying to self promote, i'm just looking for advice. Any sort of constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Yup thank you,
I do feel like the choice of song wasn't helping much as most of it was only intended to be hype and no other purpose. I just chose Black Catcher as I really love the opening and just wanted to play around with it. I didn't put my best effort in but I feel like its justified as this is my first video editing project in general haha.
And in the future, ill use clips from a single show to fit with the thematic and the "feels" part of the edit. I've already got plenty of ideas so I do have flexibility in the future.
Thanks for your help though! :)
