Comment on Would you support an increase in price of games ($80-$100 standard) in exchange for no microtransactions and free DLC? in ~games

For example, Battlefield titles usually run $60, and then you can buy a $20 or $30 'season pass' that let's you download all the DLC for free. Basically the same thing, just in two different transactions. Which helps, by the way. People can save up sixty bucks for a game and then can decide when they have the extra money for the DLC, as opposed to being forced to pay it all at once.
For the record, I don't like paying full price for games and I avoid it as much as possible.

Teskeria I'm curious about spinning yarn but I know I don't have time for it. I'll settle for supporting the people who do! Lol, thanks! We try to be pretty open about it. :) Good luck on your cowl scarf!I'm curious about spinning yarn but I know I don't have time for it. I'll settle for supporting the people who do!

I was referring more to things like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, etc. And the reason why the word "better" was in quotation marks the first time was that some conditions, like BPD for example, can show improvement without necessarily being "cured". "Better" is a relative term, very subjective to whoever is using it, and I was using it quite literally to denote improvement rather than cure.

People who have committed crimes because of "mental defect" can be forced into psychiatric facilities, where at the very least they can be made to stick to a medication regimen. And for some disorders (like bipolar or schizophrenia) the medication can allow a clarity that might result in the patient being more diligent in their therapy program. So there's a possibility.
I don't think we have a drug yet that instills empathy, though.
Ooooh! That sounds really neat!
