It's definitely not easy when you have to reduce your overall calorie intake while also restricting the foods you actually enjoy.

For me personally, greek yogurt is a cheat code with its higher protein to calorie ratio. I slap it on top of vegetables when it makes sense or mix it with protein powder for something sweet. I even enjoy it plain too, but I understand that the kind of tart flavor isn't for everyone.

Something that has been super useful to me is using ChatGPT for my food related questions. This could be looking for plants with higher protein sources, finding more ways to make chicken interesting, asking for recipes that are higher in protein and vegetables but lower in calories, etc. It's been useful to ask very specific questions and in return getting good suggestions or at minimum a narrowed down Google search term that can be used.

I'm late to the party with this one, but I started listening to Fallujah a few months ago and have been liking their music. The recently put out a new album titled Xenotaph that I've had on constant rotation since it came out and I've really been enjoying it.

A few other bands I've been digging lately are:

    Zeolite - Lappel Du Vide

Enterprise Earth - The Chosen, Patient 0

Until We Die - Before the Decay of Time

Cold Steel - Deeper Into Greater Pain

Aborted - Vault of Horrors, TerrorVision (I can't get enough of this lyricist)

    Deathless - The Clairvoyant

I started my fitness journey back up about a year ago starting with daily cardio. Since November I've added in weight training again doing 5/3/1 and I'm loving it after not lifting for years. I'm down from 215 to 165 and hope to keep it off this time with lifestyle changes.

Recently I've found two podcasts that I've really been enjoying called Iron Culture presented by MASS, and Data Driven Strength. Both are science focused podcasts discussing various topics of exercise and nutrition. If that's anyone's vibe I suggest checking them out!

I've printed with the Ultimaker 3 quite a bit. When something like this happens I would usually check a few things.

    1. Cross winding on the spool - check to see if the filament has tangled slightly on the spool and try to correct it if possible by carefully untangling it.
    2. Filament angle going into the printer - if the material is at a weird angle while the feeder in the back is trying to push the material to the head it can make it hard for the printer to actually push the material and cause issues.
    3. Feeder tension - there is a small screw on top of the feeder that controls how hard the motor gear is being pushed against the material. Check to see that it is set high enough where it can easily push the material. In my experience, having it set to one quarter to half way is plenty.
    4. Clean nozzle - sometimes the print head/nozzle can start to clog. This is especially true if multiple materials have been printed with the same nozzle. Try running through a print head cleaning procedure if you can. This can be found in the settings of the printer and can be performed with PLA which I'm assuming they have.
    5. Dry material - if the material hasn't been dried recently, see if they can dry it out.

These are just things I've thought of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more things that could resolve the issue.

I use open tracks on my phone to track my bike rides and I'm interested in looking at HR during those rides so I was hoping that would work with the Bangle watch. At least it looks like there might be potential for it!

Do you think that this watch would work as a fitness watch? I've been doing some research on watches that are a little more privacy focused because I don't feel comfortable with a company holding a ton of my personal data. Especially health related data.

So far it seems like this one could be a contender if the HR sensor is good enough. The only other brand that I saw that might be ok is Garmin as long as I don't connect to the app. I'm purely interested in the fitness side of it and don't plan on wearing it when not exercising.
