I actually thought it looked pretty cool when walking across a nearby bridge (Pont au Change) yesterday at 21:20. We were probably lucky with the lighting and the distance, but the illusion actually worked pretty well (though, as MimicSquid says, the lights and the small bridge signs on the outside broke that a bit). When first we saw it from Rue de Rivoli, it was obvious that is was fabric.
Either way, I usually like temporary installations like this, as disturbing as they may be to some people šŸ˜†

The king’s statement indicated that the Danish People’s party had pushed for Poulsen under the condition that the new government had ā€œthe explicit goal of introducing measures that will lead to Muslim net-exodus of Denmarkā€.

They are such hateful pricks… it’s not about improving the country, it’s about throwing people out for them. These are not Danish values. It’s not even about the religion, because they are just racist asshole nazi-wanmabes. After ā€œMuslimsā€ it will be some other group that ā€œthreatens the integrity of Danish farmer values and baconā€ā€¦

I absolutely love saunas, though I don’t go as much as I want. I have my gym membership solely to be able to use a nearby sauna whenever I want (as opposed to sauna clubs, which are much cheaper, but require making appointments and are usually further away). Some day I’ll also start working out before the sauna :P

But to the point, I wanted to share this link with loads of info for staying up to date with the benefits of sauna: https://www.foundmyfitness.com/topics/sauna

I’ve seen the police engage with homeless people around Christianshavn many times, and I’ve always considered it as part of the whole ā€œsociolanceā€ outreach. But now I’ll be looking at the interactions with a different perspective.
I wish real human decency was regarded more highly in politics.
