    We (whole fam-damily) enjoyed the Umbrella Academy too. I'm a little concerned that they are going to burn out. Their story relies on increasing action and conflict - at some point, you have to...

    We (whole fam-damily) enjoyed the Umbrella Academy too. I'm a little concerned that they are going to burn out. Their story relies on increasing action and conflict - at some point, you have to just give up. Remember 24? Every season had to make it worse or harder or more catastrophic. Eventually, we're disarming nukes and aliens. Where is The UA going to go now? We're already dealing with mega-war.

    But, I digress... Black Mirror. Each episode (well, most) are independent stories. They don't have to keep making the conflict worse or continue anything... they just start with a new mind-bending freakshow... and I love it.
