I can't believe I missed this! I thought that they had quietly scrapped Black Mirror due to terrible Season 5 reception. It just didn't have that Black Mirror feel to it. It's almost like they ran out of ideas and were fishing the bottom of the suggestion box. Even if they only do 3 episodes like last time, I hope they're at least of better creative quality that cause a bit more existential dread.

We (whole fam-damily) enjoyed the Umbrella Academy too. I'm a little concerned that they are going to burn out. Their story relies on increasing action and conflict - at some point, you have to just give up. Remember 24? Every season had to make it worse or harder or more catastrophic. Eventually, we're disarming nukes and aliens. Where is The UA going to go now? We're already dealing with mega-war.
But, I digress... Black Mirror. Each episode (well, most) are independent stories. They don't have to keep making the conflict worse or continue anything... they just start with a new mind-bending freakshow... and I love it.
Yea, that is a solid one. No question. I think mine is still White Christmas - The ending still lives inside my head. "Cookie Rights" "I wish it could be Christmas every day..."

I just watched the first 3 episodes, so far it's not too bad! I don't want to go into too many spoilers but it definitely feels like old Black Mirror, with that sort of "in your face" but kinda...

Looks to be five episodes this time.
Yea, I get your take on Season 5. It wasn't great - but still good TV.
I can't wait! 2 Days!!!
Here's the trailer.
Thanks for posting.
I so do enjoy this show.
I want to go in as blind as possible, but I feel so tempted to watch it! :p
Excitement is mandatory!
Monkey needs a hug.

I didn't see any news about Umbrella Academy Season 4, last I heard this was going to come out in 2024.
To be fair, I also would've expected it to release this year but it'll be a long wait.
Good to have Black Mirror this week!
What's your favorite episode? I liked USS Callister.
Black Museum for sure here. So fucked up, but concluded with some fucked up, fair justice.
Yes!
The format and previous seasons made the short vignettes perfect.
