I feel bored with new movies. I don’t know if it is me or if I feel burnet out on what Hollywood is putting out, either way i don’t feel there is anything new or refreshing.
I’ve watched some old movies, such as '12 Angry Men' (1957) which i found incredibly interesting. The entire movie is shot in one room basically and is about a youth charged for a murder and the twelve men in question have to decide if he should be put to a death sentence or not.
The point about mentioning this movie is that it is something very different than what is put out from Hollywood now. The same goes for 'Oceans Eleven' (1960) with the Rat Pack, which is a very different movie than the reboot from 2001.
I find older movies has more interesting plots and stories, not that it needs to be from the sixties. It can be from any decade, but I’d like to hear what you think should be on a movie bucketlist!
Thank you for your time, and I’m excited to watch your recommendations!

From time to time, i think about great solos in music. And when i do i always want to make a compilation playlist with songs featuring these beautiful solos.
Some of the solos that come to mind is the building crescendo of Unforgiven by Metallica, that ends in a beautifully unforgettable cacophony of sound that elevates the song to another level.
Or Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, which have a fantastic wonder-scene that gives great attention to the incredible mastering of the song.I would love to hear what song featuring what you believe is the most unforgettable solo.
Thank you all in advance, and have a great day!36 votes -

I’m very close to finishing the Stormilight Archives by Brandon Sanderson and well into The Harrowing by James Aitcheson where i really enjoy both a lot. So if you’ve either read The Harrowing or any of the Sanderson books I’d love some recommendations on books who are in the same vein as these.
Thank you in advance!

I’d like to get less screen time and think tabletop games would be great for that purpose.
Do you have any recommendations for games you’ve really enjoyed, thank you!16 votes
Would you then consider systems like the Atari 2600 antique? Considering technology "years" runs faster than a normal rotation around the sun year.
Should we come up with new words for the aging of technology or will we still use "retro", "vintage" and "antique".
We could say that the Sega Mega Drive is obsolete, but I feel that’s incorrect.
Just because that system isn’t on par with the modern generation of systems does not mean that it’s invalidated! It has a heart of its own, some people have nostalgia for it and some want to discover what their parent’s childhood was like by taking part of it in some small way.
I don’t think technology ever become obsolete, it just become antiquated.
