    I could absolutely see cosplay gear being a lucrative side gig to all of that, especially with the explosion of popularity D&D has with certian generations. People dressing up as their favorite characters and who aren't afraid to spend a little to get truly timeless, quality results.

    I think you're right about steam being a part of the critical mass that might turn more onto linux, as well as windows getting increasingly more nutty.

    Just switched to linux last year, and also switched my mother over in the last 3mo as well. The real pivotal point was finding a company called System76 that sold pre-built ubuntu laptops since I could never get the USB method to work (and personally wanted some kind of real human support in case if I borked it up as a newbie). Having that expert on speed dial helped reduce the real fear/friction of switching over.

    Pretty open about it on this handle but not IRL among tasteful company: Hellsing, hands down.

    Delicious gorn porn with a heavy dosage of erotics that I could write essays about, and basically have with creating fan-doujinshi. The best thing is the Abridged series is a riot and a half too, if one doesn't mind slightly dated humor.

    There's a few other much more niche series for various reasons that likely wouldn't apply to the readers here (I'm a fujoshi, what can I say ;>), but it wouldn't surprise me if Hellsing's on several of our lists.

    I do comics and doujinshi (fandom cartoons with cultural connotations from Japan). Built a hand-coded personal site with a links page, gallery page, and two logs on subdomains separating SFW/NSFW...

Built a hand-coded personal site with a links page, gallery page, and two logs on subdomains separating SFW/NSFW art. The SFW log has a mirror on tumblr and mastodon since one of wordpress' few advantages is the number of plugins that can crosspost on other sites, thus minimizing the amount of harassment one can get.
