Quick additions if you like the list above:

Tom Scott - Witty Brit. Does fulfilling content on how things work.

Operation Doughnut - Dumb American. guns, cops, shootings, questionable politics, but good content if you're into police work.

German in Venice - Adorable German. Shows us the lives of the average person on skid row while featuring shots of current Hollywood. Tons of nostalgia from better times in Hollywood and Los Angles.

Louis Rossmann - Tech repairman turned current affairs commentator. While I've been a fan for years, he's become especially important since the turmoil over on Reddit.

All things Conan O'Brian - Your source for Conan's career

Real Appalachia - Everything Eastern Kentucky and the rest of Appalachia. Tough times out there, but these two wacky folks bring out the best of a very specific part of the United States.

Stuff You Should Know - Basically a channel for all things that YSK.

Netflix is a Joke - SiriusXM brings you Netflix comedy.

Don't Tell Comedy - An unaffiliated group of famous and not so famous comedians who get together everywhere from basements to ballrooms, from bars to your backyard.

Great idea for a thread. My favorite subreddit was/(is....) r/videos. Happy to bookmark this thread in Tildes and continue my protest.

I can relate. I mod our local city sub r/lexington. We have 3 mods, the creator, myself, and one we brought on from a local Discord server. They buckled under the tension to go public. I should have been more outspoken.

The atmosphere we found ourselves in was a "hate if we do, and hate if we don't" type situation, and there was no winning either way. Local subreddits are vital to communities... Hell I had the best weekend of the summer so far last Friday because a pop-up comedy show was being thrown less than 1,000 ft from my house I came across on the sub.

I can only hope that this is the same OBLIVIATER from my all-time favorite subreddit, r/videos.

I cannot begin to describe how r/videos has molded my life through the years. Countless hobbies, passions, fandoms of mine began by stumbling upon a channel I found on r/videos. It very well may have saved my life at some points.

All the more power to you my friend. I hope that moderators of very popular subs continue the fight during this time, the beginning of the end of Reddit.

After only 48 hours, I was recently outvoted to take my small city's sub, r/Lexington public. I refuse to feed the beast Reddit will inevitably become, because I can't stand to help ruin something I hold so dear. Furthermore, I stand with subs like r/videos in solidarity by vowing to never use Reddit, unless in an official mod capacity.
