What have you been watching / reading this month? (Anime/Manga)
What have you been watching and reading this month? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

Recently began watching Samurai Champloo. Great story that focuses on some fairly interesting concepts spanning from samurai culture to hip-hop to cultural acceptance. It has its flaws here and there but the plot is overall rather simple and well done. The soundtrack is one of the highlights of the show, and the main reason I even found out about it was because one of my favorite producers, Nujabes, made music for the series (you should check out his discography if you would like to hear a more lo-fi version of hip-hop). It also has some similarities to Cowboy Bebop due to them having the same director, which can be noticed as the series goes on. Pretty fun show that has kept me hooked for a while now.
I got tickets for the new Makoto Shinkai movie, Suzume, which begins general screening tomorrow in the US! It might only be showing for a week, the website isn't completely clear on that, so I decided to put off watching the Mario movie in favor of Suzume. I'll update with my thoughts after this weekend.
I haven't been watching much anime in recent months/years outside a few recurring seasonal ones with friends, most notably this season the second seasons of To Your Eternity and (ongoing) of Vinland Saga (whose manga is a good candidate for my favorite).
But I peeked into Buddy Daddies this weekend and also Tokyo Revengers (immediate Erased vibes.) No idea if they're going to remain good throughout, of course. Anime often doesn't.
I'm excited for the adaptation of Kimi wa Houkago Insomnia, the cutest romance manga ever in a good way, but only provided it's well adapted.
Finally got around to watching the second season of BOFURI, only watched the first episode though.
I've just recently started watching TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You. It's so cute and I'm enjoying it! ^-^
