Watching Mahoutsukai no Yome during the seasonal gap.
Nice and clean animation from WIT Studio.
The 'I'm going to buy this teenage girl from an auction so I can marry her' premise is a rough one to lead with, though.
It's not so bad if you view it more as a very expensive adoption for a very traumatized orphan.
Finished the last episode of Nippon Sangoku and damn what a way to finish the season, everything is just delivered with such gravitas. It really nails the romance part of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. There's some massive setups for the next arc in the story as well, so I'm hoping the sales do well and a second season gets greenlit because this was definitely my favorite watch of the season and that means a lot when you have Witch Hat Atelier as competition.

I have read the manga before and I was very happy to see it animated. The animation, music and direction are all great. Highly recommended. I am a non-smoker.
