Started and caught up with Sayonara, Lara in the last week and this has immediately jumped into my seasonal top 3. It's an original story made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of studio Kinema Citrus, and it's an original adaptation of The Little Mermaid. It's a huge love letter to 80's and 90's anime, where it's done digitally but made to imitate celluloid animation and the character designs also match that era. The story's easy to understand, the characters are all distinct and likeable without being suffocating coughkyoanicough, the opening is lovely and also has a nostalgic feel, and the whole package is just really charming. Strongly recommend if you like character-driven stories with a bit of romance.
I've been watching the original gundam series and prince of tennis.
Gundam is better than I expected, but Prince of Tennis is WAY overrated imo.
I'm waiting for volume 2 of the Grimoire Edition of Witch Hat Atelier, and for my library to order vol 4 of Frieren.

Looks like a voodoo showdown is about to begin. This series is very good at making it seems like the characters are always stumbling in a world of danger beyond their ability to beware, even for the most experienced among them.
