They clearly had difficulty saying anything about it in a no spoiler setting and the events of the alicization arc are no secret in any case - the LNs are officially translated into english too. I’m not sure why they’re being so hush about it. I can understand wanting to do an interview for anime only viewers but most that I got out of that is that they’ve really put in a lot of effort and this is something they’re very passionate about. That’s getting me a lot more excited for the show and to see all the amazing fights being animated.
