At this point I'm just weeping for the victims and trying to at least be thankful Ishihara and Naoko Yamada made it out safe.

K-On is my favorite anime of all time, and probably always will be. Every injury and life lost in this tragedy is of course horrible, but I have to admit when I read the news the first thing that came to mind was "please not Yamada please let her be okay." It says a lot that someone I've never met, who will never know I exist, could have such an impact.
