What have you been watching / reading this week? (Anime/Manga)

What have you been watching and reading this week? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

If you want to, feel free to find the thing you're talking about and link to its pages on Anilist, MAL, or any other database you use!

A friend turned me on to Dr. Stone, and while I'm not normally an anime fan (for stupid aesthetic reasons), I really like it. And I mean a lot. It's a lot of fun. I was surprised. :)

Haven't read attack on Titans for quite some time. Currently reading it again from the beginning.

I've read the visual novel and impressed at KyoAni's adaptation, holds up super well for a ten year old show. You can tell they had a lot of love for the source material. They also added a few gags that weren't in the VN, taking advantage of the animation format, which is fun.

I'm not far enough in to predict which I'll ultimately like more, VN or anime, but one thing I've noticed is the background music made more of an impression reading the VN, since scenes could go on for many minutes while looping the same music track. They use the same music in the anime, but since scenes need to be edited to the appropriate length for TV, there isn't as much time to enjoy the music. I have the soundtrack in my listening rotation and can picture scenes from the VN hearing each track, so the music is dear to me.
