What have you been watching and reading this week? You don't need to give us a whole essay if you don't want to, but please write something! Feel free to talk about something you saw that was cool, something that was bad, ask for recommendations, or anything else you can think of.

Day late once again, good thing I don't get paid to do this or I would be fired for always being late. Don't have much extra to say that I didn't say last week, just in the final stretch waiting for things to be finished. Starting to also look at the next season and not really sure what to do with it. Don't know how much I'm going to watch but I might reduce the amount of shows just to make it easier to watch everything, because at times I do find myself starting to become overwhelmed with shows.
2020 Spring Week 10
Shironeko Project ZERO CHRONICLE Ep 10
I just don’t see how this show is going to wrap up in a satisfactory way with how many episodes we have left. I thought it was leading to a real nice and enjoyable conclusion before the groups separated, but now I just don’t see it. It feels like we just have far too much content and story to finish up in a way that works well and doesn’t come off as a full go play the game conclusion.
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Ep 11
I really just didn’t like this episode, just like I didn’t like the previous episode. This episode had the issue where you get flashbacks and remember were the story came from, but it hasn’t actually been long enough to require it. It appears in jrpgs and anime so many times, and I just can’t help but see it as filler. Many of these events just happened 5 episodes ago, which is just a couple weeks, so I haven’t forgotten these events and need remembering of them.
Sure, they had the really nice animation and new scenes with her in the previous world. But it just didn’t feel like it filled out the episode that much, and they just had to fill some time, so the final episode doesn’t feel empty. I don’t know, maybe I’ve just seen this stuff play out so many times that it has just lost its impact on me.
Princess Connect! Re: Dive Ep 10
Loved this episode, sure it didn’t progress the main story anymore. And by this point I doubt we will ever get even a tiny bit of expansion of whatever the base story is of the game. But we did get a bunch of fun enjoyable character interactions and new cute cast members. And if they are cute and enjoyable, that is enough really from this show.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War? Ep 10
While this episode was perfectly fine and moved forward the general story some more. And giving more backstory to the characters and more development character wise. In some ways I actually liked the previous episode more, with the slicker visuals and animation style compared to the more traditional feeling visuals this episode.
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Ep 8
Meh, after a rather decent previous episode this one just fell flat for me. Do we need an action scene in every episode without fail, what did it add to the episode at all? And for the final result of the episode with Section 9 being reformed, it felt honestly a bit rushed and anticlimactic.
With this being episode 8, and I am seriously concerned about how terribly rushed this ending is going to be. We don’t have many episodes to track down the targets, learn about them, and capture or kill them at all. So, I get a feeling we will end up with just a couple episodes of unending poor action scene after action scene.
2010 Spring Throwback Week 10
Night Raid 1931 Ep 10
As this show reaches the final couple episodes, it just ends up doing less for me. I was definitely interested in the story and characters after the first couple episodes. But now I just kinda feel like I’ve lost the plot, and the character motivations, and together it just isn’t making me enjoy watching anymore. I really don’t feel like I know where the story is trying to end up at all.
House of Five Leaves Ep 10
I just don’t see where this show is going to end up at all. Throughout this entire show, it just doesn’t feel like it is moving anywhere at all. The characters change in small amounts of the period of the show. But not enough to make it feel like a bunch of progress has occurred. Maybe the final two episodes will change my mind, but thus far I think I’m just going to be slightly disappointed with this show.
The Tatami Galaxy Ep 9
This episode didn’t do very much for me at all. I’m guessing the whole point of the episode was that he has just been wasting his time throughout all these episodes. But it just didn’t work all that great for me at all. Well guess I shall see what changes in the final episodes.
I just got a huge bundle of Manga from humble bundle. I just made it through the first volume of Space Brothers and I like it so far. The bundle also included Parasyte and some others I've never heard of. It was over 120 volumes so I'll be busy for a while!
Been watching Silver Spoon with the wife. It was a suggestion from a Japanese girl and when I read the synopsis, I was really not impressed. But now, I actually quite like it. It is funny without being too silly and it was also some nice messages.
