How do you feel about nudity in art? Does nudity in films or TV shows seem necessary to you?
I'm interested to hear people's thoughts on this topic after making that comment about censorship of nudity in a particular TV show.
I for one am from a culture where it's not unusual to be naked in a sauna with people who you might not even know, so I personally am not bothered by it. When it's porn-y it might take me out of the experience, but when done tastefully it just seems inherently 'human' to me.
I don't have a problem with nudity in art/media in principal, but I will say it makes me uncomfortable when it feels exploitative rather than as a natural part of the piece.
