Been playing off and on during RS1 and took a long hiatus starting in 2008. Got back when the mobile betas were released, and it's been a time suck in my life ever since.

    I use Apple Music, but I put in my minutes to see how much (little) Spotify pays the artists for my usage.. About 30 thousand listened minutes translated to roughly 20 pounds (about 24 €) in royalties which was about 13% of what I would have paid on an individual plan.

    Something to note is that the artists (or publishers) have to pay for the right to have their music be streamed on the platform. For example, my Distrokid subscription costs me about 80 euro / year, and I'm absolutely not getting tens of thousands of listened minutes on my stuff in that timeframe.

    Absolutely. The leveling experience and the story in questing is better than ever. You can run dungeons with a party of NPCs. There is even a story mode for solo players to experience the last boss of the new raid and the associated story bits. Just today the season started and there is now a way for solo players to get near highest end (heroic raid) gear from delves, which can be completed solo or with up to a party of 5.

    I am in a guild and we do go for heroic raids but outside of that I mostly play solo, and I’m having a blast so far!

    I think the mix changes are mostly good ones, but I can’t say this is anything super exciting for me personally. Seems like the earlier version of the album is at least hidden on streaming now
