    This reminds me one of my favorite documentaries called Homo Sapiens. It tries to achieve with video what the photographer tried to achieve with still photos. The photos are indeed beautiful, but I find the video form to be much more contemplative. I highly recommend it, if you're into it.

    "Abandoned" is one of my favorite categories of photography. There's actually subreddit dedicated to it.

    I'd really really love to do it more often, but it's challenging, as you sometimes have to travel pretty far to find things, and you can pretty well guaranty that any photographer with a decently sized portfolio for this style has broken a few trespassing laws to get them.
