    Thankfully, the faces of the czar and his son are not damaged somehow despite the work being pierced in three places. The expressions and eyes in the portrait are downright haunting to look at....

      Every time I see headlines like this I get surprised that we still have anything old at all. Everything is so fragile and there's so many volatile places on the planet that are still home to many...

      Every time I see headlines like this I get surprised that we still have anything old at all. Everything is so fragile and there's so many volatile places on the planet that are still home to many of those fragile things.

      Hats off to those throughout time that dedicate themselves to seeking, studying, and protecting these items.
