    I put this one in because Richard Powers is one of my favorite prose writers. He can take a nothing story and suddenly make it all worthwhile. Overstory (Logging in the 1980's) sounds like a perfect subject for him, even though Ken Kesey knocked that theme out of the park with Sometimes A Great Notion decades ago.
