Gwenpool, aka Gwendolyn Poole, is a fan of Marvel Comics from a universe not unlike ours who was transported into the Marvel Universe with outside knowledge and medium bending powers. Or she's a mutant who has convinced herself that reality is a comic book to cope with the crazy happenings of the Marvel Universe. Or she started as a variant cover character mashup between Gwen Stacy and Deadpool who took on a life of her own. It gets complicated.
Gwen Stacy is a character from Marvel Comics who is most well known for being a love interest for Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, who was tragically killed then brought back again and again for stunts and pathos.

I really enjoyed that Chris Hasting's run. I have not particularly cared for what Marvel has done with her since. (Or really what Marvel has done in general for the past decade). This is...

This is potentially an okay premise, I just have no experience with the creative team, so I find it hard to be optimistic.
