Sister Marian is a witch hunter of the highest order, a Mother Superior, and a heretic guided by a Goddess the Church refuses to acknowledge. When the Holy Father brands her order blasphemers, Marian strikes a dark bargain to become their personal enforcer.
As she delivers murderous judgement night after night in the city of Vespers, she can feel her soul fracture…but what else can she do with the lives of her sisters at stake?

This was cool. I rarely ever read comics, but I liked the concept and story here. The religious themes remind me a game I watched a friend play: Blasphemous 2. Given I don't know anything about...

Given I don't know anything about comics, will future issues be released digitally? Or is this just a special case and usually have to buy hardcopies?

Future issues will be released digitally through services like Kindle, Apple Books or Google Play. You may want to wait for it to be collected in a trade and/or offered in a library service as part of Libby or Hoopla, but Boom’s digital licensing to libraries has been incommunicado since they got bought by Penguin Random House, so you might be waiting a while. If you want the physical experience with individual issues, then you’ll want to find a local comic shop and ask them to start a pull for you. But otherwise, wait a few months and pick up the trade IMO.
