I read this yesterday and thought it was interesting. I'm more of a systems software person, but I do periodically have a need to make something that'll run in a browser.
These seem like good strategies (maybe minus the AI for me...) to make little, working tools that don't require me to get up to speed on the JS framework-of-the-week.
