    I'm tentatively actually excited about this! Cloudflare can sometimes act in kind of scary ways, as a growing monolith in front of many sites, but this seems to be some engineers trying to be cool. Let's hope it stays that way.

      The beauty of truly decentralized protocols is, it doesn't matter if one vendor or service provider decides to be evil. You can always ignore Cloudflare and participate in the IPFS network as a first-class citizen, with the same access to the same resources. Bringing in more users thru easier participation in the network is an unalloyed gain. Protocols, not platforms.

      Has anyone found StackOverflow questions on Cloudflare's mirror too? I can only find StackExchange sites.

        This is what has me most excited about a big player like Cloudflare getting involved. In the long run, we'll hopefully be able to do away with gateways entirely, but in the meantime a big, reliable, and fast public gateway will make it a lot more practical to get people using an app built on IPFS.
