This looks good. This type of development needs to happen to push CLIs further. They are at the moment pretty awful to use. Please note I did not say they aren't powerful.

The appearance of these new types of interfaces goes to show that there may be a way to reduce the complexity without reducing the ability.
TBH, I don't know how this is different from what REALLY unix (better say plan9, cuz it's unix more than unix) pipe is. take a look at z3bra setup. he use alot of GUI features via shell commands....

Also, u may want to see more about plan9, specifically acme and it's mail client, they do a LOT with mouse and GUIs. just via shell PIPE & 9P
