Hello tildes! It's finally time to come out from lurking. I published my new project new.css a couple of days ago and the response was totally unpredicted—the project has received almost 900 GitHub stars today alone. I'd love to discuss the project with you all and get your thoughts!

Hey, I really like this! I'm not super plugged in to the web design/dev world, but I have been thinking about making a simple blog to collect my thoughts and cool links and share it with others. I had used a static site generator before (Jekyll, dabbled with Hugo as well), but I found them overly burdensome for my simple needs. I've since then been tinkering with pure HTML/CSS and trying to get a design I like. Would you be willing to say in a few words, in terms that a complete web-design novice would understand, what advantages your framework provides?

The trend towards static site generation also allows trending toward improved focus and specialization. This is a great example of rethinking how we approach building visual interfaces with web technologies. And "rethinking" here really just means "use as intended."

Thanks for the framework. Excited to try it out!

This is pretty neat! Thanks for including an option to not download fonts (even a single one). That's much appreciated!
