If you're at all like me, you may have grown up during the height of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' popularity. At the same time, you might not have realized just how far-reaching their influence really was (or continues to be). When examined as cultural icons, though, the half-shelled heroes help to highlight ways in which today's often-decried trend of nostalgia-profiteering is a lot more understandable... even if there were some significant missteps along the way.

If you wouldn't mind a small correction now, then:

The concert [...] was offered as both a stage show, a pay-per-view event, and a special release VHS tape.

The adverb "both" is used before the first of two alternatives to emphasize that the statement being made applies to each (the other alternative being introduced by ‘and’). You can remember this because "b" is the second letter of the alphabet, and "both" refers to two options.

When introducing a list of more than two options, you shouldn't use "both".

I'm not interested enough in the TMNT to sit through a whole 9-minute video about them. I was more interested in seeing you in action! :)

On another note, I've been really hesitant to share any of my videos on here because there seems to be an overwhelming attitude against self promotion. ~creative seems pretty dead, and I think it has something to do with that. Really, I just want to share the stuff I make, maybe get some feedback, but I've been too worried about pissing people off. I don't understand how creative types are supposed to share their work without it falling under the category of self-promotion.

Edit: Also, it's impressive how much script you're able to handle between cuts. Even though I use a very different format in my videos, I struggle to handle one or two sentences at a time when I'm working off of a script. Even when I'm just kinda winging it, I still end up using lots of quick cuts in the edit to adjust the timing of delivery. Your pacing is enviable.
