Inktober
So once a year artists all over the internet settle down and attempt Inktober, where we abandon our digital tools and attempt to put out paper-and-ink drawings once a day for the full month of October! There's "official" prompt sheets and the like, but a lot of us focus on just getting the art made rather than going by a list of ideas to draw.
I never make it the full month, but we're three days in now and I'm currently 3 for 3!
Anyone else taking part? I'd love to see what you've made!

None of these are adult in nature but consider this an obligatory warning, depending on your workplace!

You're effort level seems high still! Though my favorite haven't changed.
I usually struggle with just doing a piece.
No undo is definitely a double edged sword lol.
Dang, that new one is great and would make for a pretty cool pinup girl tattoo. And your clean, strong line art style would definitely work well for tatts... have you ever considered perusing that as a career?
Thank you! I usually work digitally so it's quite interesting to have "pressure sensitivity" on a traditional tool. I'm not used to it at all but it's better than my first and second attempts on days #2 and #3.
I'm not sure I have a steady enough hand! You can see the wobbles in my strokes on the border of the face in #4, would hate to end up putting that wobble onto someones skin!
As much as I've always wanted to work as an artist as a career, the sad truth is only 10% or so of artists actually produce a liveable income, and I'm not (yet) in the top 10% skill bracket, so the odds of me getting away with it are quite low. :'(

Can't take credit for the design - she's from the very excellent "A Hat in Time" platformer, which I strongly recommend to everyone into platform style games.
Although the DLC is kicking my ass...
I love how dynamic and bold your art looks! I've tried to do Inktober a couple times before, but I always ended up quitting eventually or losing interest. I haven't tried it this year because I know that it's going to be a busy month for me, but seeing everybody's drawings on Instagram and here is so inspiring haha. I'm definitely going to try it next year!
Well doing a piece maybe once every few days or once a week still counts, if you have the time!
And thank you! A feeling of dynamic-ness is something I always struggle with, so that's exactly the right thing to say to keep me going!

Yay! An Inktober thread. I'm not one to share my art, but I am also doing Inktober. It's so much work to do the full month, and though I'm 3 for 3 so far, they're really just filler pieces so far. Hoping more inspiration will come to me by the weekend :P
Yeah I haven't really done a full piece yet. I bought a new brush especially and I'm not used to it at all, but I'm hoping by the weekend I'll be ready to do something a bit more complex!
I think this is the first year I didn't buy anything. I'm debating rewarding myself with a new palette if I complete the full month instead, lol.
My incentive is that I'm doing it with a friend of mine, and we've promised each other we'll both do a piece each day.
We'll see how it goes!
I want to do short videos for each day then compile them at the end of the month. Unfortunately, work got the better of me last week and I didn't have the energy to keep with it. If I have a chance to catch up a bit, I'll add them to the playlist, so hopefully the link should work for the duration until I make the full compilation video.

Just dropped my updates up to the 19th in, sadly, have fallen off since then. Got a lot further than I do most years though, so I'm still feeling pretty good about it all!
I was worried that you maybe gave up after I checked back a few times and there wasn't any updates. I'm really glad to see you're still working on it though!
p.s. I especially like #15
I was very sick last week and struggled through it, but it's drained my ability to keep going! I might try to catch up this week if I can but I haven't been happy with the quality of what I've been putting out since #19, #19 included, so I think it might be a wrap.
And thank you! She's one of my favourite characters of all my friends OCs, although me being her unofficial voice actor probably makes me very biased.
That's totally understandable. I was really sick a few months ago and it destroyed my productivity too, since I was sleeping like 12+ hours a day for almost a week. And in my experience creative work is especially hard to produce when you're feeling under the weather, so it's doubly understandable. Regardless of if you can continue or not though, I think you should be pretty proud of yourself. You did some amazing work! :)
I'm so glad you updated! I was still checking, though I've stopped too (on the 9th).
Day 12th and 13th really stood out for me. Even if you don't catch up, I hope you feel better soon and still update us as you go.
